Species Description
This large auk breeds along the norhtern Atlantic coast of North America and in northwest Russia into northern France. Razorbills have a white underbody with a black head, neck, and back. They also possess a distinctive white line running from the eyes to the end of the bill. The razorbill is an able swimmer capable of catching and eating prey (consisting of fish, crustaceans, and sea worms) while underwater.
